Arrington - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 7, 1985 Services for Dewey H. Arrington, 79, were at 10 a.m. Monday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Dry Prong with the Rev. Dick DeBusk officiating. Mr. Arrington died Saturday at Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Alexandria and a resident of Tallulah for the past seven years. He was a retired insurance salesman and member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vivian Arrington of Tallulah; a son, Jerry Arrington of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Markham of Jacksonville, Fla.; four brothers, J. W. Arrington of Shreveport, Coty Arrington, Hardy Arrington and C. A. Arrington, all of Dry Prong; a sister, Mrs. Omye Campbell of Lake Charles; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Nephews were pallbearers.
