All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Pearl Barrett - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 30, 1972 Rites held Tuesday for Mrs. Barrett Mrs. Pearl Barrett, 81, of Tallulah, died Sunday in the Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a. m. in the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John David Corley officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. A member of the Methodist Church and a native of Humphries County, Tenn., Mrs. Barrett had lived in Madison Parish for 60 years. Survivors include her husband, Lucian Barrett of Tallulah; two sons, Dr. Edward Cecil Smith of Morgantown, W. Va., and T. A. Smith Jr. of Tallulah; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bob Gaumnitz, H. S. Weaver, R. E. Fowler, Malcolm Cagnolatti, Sr., Wayne Harkey and Russell Petersen.
