All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Earnest Calvin Beard - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 21, 1990 Funeral services for Mr. Earnest Calvin Beard, 56, were at 2 p.m. Friday at Meadow Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wells and Rev. Cloy Chapman officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Beard died Wednesday, Feb. 14 at Franklin Parish Hospital in Winnsboro after a short illness. Mr. Beard was a native of Mississippi and a resident of Tallulah for the past 32 years, having recently moved to Wisner. He was a former cotton gin employee and a member of the Meadow Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Betty Beard Miller of Wisner and Mrs. Sandra Beard Flowers of Enid, Ms.; four nieces; three nephews; and a host of great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers were Gene Butler, Elra Townsend, Chester Deggans, Boyd Wyatt, Gerald Lott and James Still.
