All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Cora Beck - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 15, 1977 Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Beck, 65, of Tallulah, were held Wednesday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here with Rev. Barney Holloway officiating. Graveside services were held in Utica, Miss. in the Utica Cemetery. Mrs. Beck died Monday in Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss. after a long illness. A native of Claiborne County, Miss., Mrs. Beck had resided in Madison Parish for 20 years. Mrs. Beck was a sales clerk and a member of the Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Cora Inez Britton of Vicksburg, Miss., Mrs. Dorothy Sue Cone of Batesville, Ark., Mrs. Marie Wall and Mrs. Pamela Wells, both of Tallulah; two brothers, Max Henry Dean of Vicksburg, Miss., and Grady Fay Dean of Jackson, Miss.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were LaRue Harmon, Joe Foster, C. H. Hodge, Walter Butler, Leon Secrest and Newtie Simmons.
