A. Beck Funeral services for Joseph Albert Beck, 60, were held at 2:00 p. m. Sunday at the Mound Baptist Church with the Revs. Herman Savoie and Barney Holloway and Carl Barnes officiating. Burial followed in Utica Cemetery at Utica, Miss., under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Beck died unexpectedly last Saturday at 1:00 p. m. at the Madison Parish Hospital here, following a short illness. Mr. Beck was a native of Utica, Miss., and had resided in Madison Parish for the past 30 years. He was the owner and operator of Beck's Garage, and was a member of the Mound Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cora Beck, Tallulah; four daughters, Mrs. Leon Britton, Vicksburg, Miss.; Mrs. Marie Wall, Mrs. Pam Powell, both of Tallulah and Mrs. W. D. Cone, Greenville, Miss.; One brother, Earl Beck, Utica, Miss. One sister, Mrs. Walter Mayson, Biloxi, Miss. and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joe Foster, La-Rue Harmon, N. T. Satchfield, C.
