Belott - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 8, 1999 Graveside services for Mrs. Pauline W. Belott, 78, of Tallulah. La., were held Friday, Sept. 3, 1999 a t Memorial Park Cemetery, Tallulah, with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, Tallulah. Mrs. Belott died early Thursday, Sept. 2, at her residence in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. She was born in Greenville, Miss.. and had lived in Madison Parish for more than 70 years. She was City Clerk for the village of Tallulah in the 1950s and later worked for the Tallulah Production Credit Association, retiring from there May 11, 1973. She became a member of the Tallulah Presbyterian Church in 1936 and was an organist there. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don A. Belott. Survivors include: three sisters: Mary Pope, Charleston, Tenn., Dr. Ruth Rafferty, West Memphis, Ark., and Virginia Vanderhoogt, Tallulah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
