All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Clarmon Bethea - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 11, 1964 Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Clarmon Bethea Funeral services for Mrs. Clarmon Bethea, 79, who died Sunday in a nursing home in Newellton were held Tuesday at 10 a. m. Services were conducted at the Tallulah Methodist Church with Rev. Clark Bell officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Cupit-Young Funeral Home. Born in Tulsa, Miss., Mrs. Bethea had lived in Louisiana since 1905 and in Tallulah since 1912. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. G. E. Green of State College Miss., Mrs. Dill Allen, Jr., Gulfport, Miss., and Mrs. J. C. Albert of Tulsa, Okla., four sons, James Bethea of Baton Rouge, Alfred Bethea of West Monroe, Bob Bethea of Godaza, Alabama and Jack Bethea of Tallulah, Sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were W. P. Sevier, Manfred Gustafson, B. H. Prewitt, J. C. Sherwin, Ben Scruggs and Frank Thomas.
