Blair, resident of Madison parish since 1901, and local manager for the lands of the Ashley Company, a corporation with large holdings in this territory, died Sunday in Vicksburg, following stroke of paralysis. A few days before he had been stricken at his home in Tallulah and had been taken to Vicksburg for treatment. Mr. Blair was a native of Scooba, Miss., coming to Tallulah in 1901. The remains were brought to Tallulah Monday morning and the funeral services were held at his residence at three o'clock Monday afternoon. The services were in charge of Rev. H. N. Alexander, pastor of the Presbyterian church here and he was assisted by Rev. C. N. Kimberlin of the Baptist church and Rev. W. H. Giles of the Methodist church.
