All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Annie Guthrie Blanche - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 1, 1957 Services Held For Mrs. Blanche Friday Afternoon Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Guthrie Blanche, 89, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde McKinsey in Gibbsland last Thursday after a short illness were held here at Young's Funeral Chapel Friday afternoon. The Rev. William F. Mayo officiated and burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Blanche was born in Tensas Parish and was the wife of the late George S. Blanche, well known planter of Madison Parish, residing at Quebec. She is survived by two sons, Alex Blanche of Tendal and Edwin Blanche of Newellton, and a daughter, Mrs. Clyde McKinsey, four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
