All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Mary Alice Blanche - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 24, 1974 Mrs. Alice Blanche Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Blanche, 78, of Jackson, Miss., were held at the St. Edward's Catholic Church here with Father Gilles Boyer officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Blanche died in the Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Miss. Thursday following a brief illness. She was a native of West Point, Miss. At the time of her death she was a resident of Jackson, Miss., and a former resident of Madison Parish for many years. Mrs. Blanche was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Alex Blanche of Tripoli, Libya; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Rust and Mrs. J. C. Battaile, both of Jackson, Miss.; and one brother, Barry Oliver of Wilton, Conn. Pallbearers were Barton Sevier, W. W. Ziegler, W. W. Ziegler, Jr., Shields Bray, Moran Burdett and Jim Folk.
