All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Lavelle "Pete" Bolton Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 17, 1998 Funeral services for Mr. Lavelle "Pete" Bolton Sr., age 64, of Tallulah, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Relaford officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Bolton died Friday, June 12, 1998, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Jackson, Miss., after a lengthy illness. He was born in Oak Grove, La., and had lived in Tallulah for about 27 years. Mr. Bolton was a member of Masonic Lodge 308, a Shriner, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War; a member of the Northeast Louisiana Cutting Horse Association and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Bolton of Tallulah; one daughter, Mary Ann Roberson of Tallulah; three sons, Lavelle W Bolton Jr., Earnest James Bolton and Robert Lynn Bolton, all of Tallulah; one brother; Harold Bolton of Tallulah; three sisters, Mildred Siatta of New Orleans, Betty Ruth Wilburn of Longview, Texas, and Shirley Haupt of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Everett Edwards, Dusty Butler, Eddie Brawnor, Lane Randall, Charlie Isaacs and A. O. Maxwell. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
