E. (Frankie) Bowen, 77, of 345 Daniel Lake Blvd., died late Wednesday afternoon at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home. Burial: Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, La., at 2 p.m. Survivors are four sons, Gullick Bowen, A. C. Bowen and L. K. Bowen, all of Jackson, and A. B. Bowen of Tupelo; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Flynn of Grand Junction, Colo.; a brother, Ruel Cross of Prescott, Ark.; and a sister, Mrs. Violet Hatch of Taylor, Ark.; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A native of Arkansas, Mrs. Bowen was a former longtime resident of Tallulah, La., and had lived in Jackson since 1941. She was a member of Hanging Moss Baptist Church.
