All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Christine Beasley Bradley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home July 16, 2016 Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Beasley Bradley, age 84,of DeRidder, La., will be at 2 P.M., Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Tallulah, La., with Bro. Jason McGuffie officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service, from 1 to 2, at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah, under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Bradley was born on December 12, 1931 in Georgetown,Ms., in Copiah County. At the age of 12, Mrs. Bradley began working, by scooping ice cream, at Vickery's Grocery in Sondheimer, La. On November 9, 1947, at the age of 15, she married Raymond Bradley. Mrs. Bradley continued to work at Vickery's Grocery until 1972. After staying home for a few years to help with her grandchildren, Mrs. Bradley went to work for Louisiana Power and Light (LP&L) in 1982, which later became Entergy. After 10 years with LP&L/Entergy, Mrs. Bradley retired. She lived most of her life in Sondheimer, La., and moved to DeRidder in 1997. She died on July 16, 2016 after a brief illness. Mrs. Bradley is preceded in death by her husband of 67 plus years, Raymond Oswell Bradley, her son, Michael Raymond Bradley, her parents, Elbert M. Beasley and Elizabeth Harwell Beasley, her step-mother, Annie Beasley, her sisters, Marie Chapel, Dolly Bell Beasley and Chestine Beasley, her brothers, Houston Beasley, E.M. Beasley, France Beasley and Elvis Beasley, her half-sisters, Mary Martin, Linda D. Johnson and Ruth Beasley, her half-brothers, John Henry Martin, Richard Beasley, J.L. Beasley, James M (J.M.) Beasley, Ronald D. Beasley and Donald G. Beasley. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah McCarty and husband Basil, grandchildren, Jamie Vogel and wife Karen, Christy Richards and husband Rick, Gary Vogel, Brooke Bradley, TK Bradley, Ben Bradley and wife Jenn, Tamia McCarty and Dion McCarty, great grandchildren, Ashley Cottnum, Dylan Vogel, Morgan Vogel, Hanna Richards, Natalie Hussain and Haley Richards, her brother, Pascal Beasley, her half-brothers, George E. Beasley, Melvin Beasley, Mike Beasley and Wayne Beasley, her half-sisters, Irene Tiser, Sherry Dennis, Lynthia S. Blansett, and Wenifred (Wendy) Amann and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jamie Vogel, Gary Vogel, Dylan Vogel, Rick Richards, Dion McCarty and Wayne Bradley.
