Ga.. were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Brown died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998, at his home in Atlanta. He was born in Vicksburg, Miss., and grew up in Tallulah, where he graduated from Tallulah High School in 1963. He lived in Vicksburg until 1979. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his mother, Nina Gunter Brown. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles R Brown of Lafayette, La.; one son, Clay Brown of Vicksburg; one daughter, Cheryl Puckett of Redwood; and one aunt, Jeri Deane of North Little Rock.
