Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 22, 1957 Funeral Services For J. M. Brown Held Sunday Funeral services for Jesse M. Brown, 64, of the Willow Bayou community, who died of a heart attack Saturday morning were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p. m. at the Methodist Church with Rev. William F. Mayo officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. He was found at 6:30 a. m. by his wife, Mrs. Mary Brown. Mr. Brown, a farmer and a resident of Madison Parish for 27 years, was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, four brothers, W. F. Brown, Greenwood, La., C. O. Brown, Tallulah, E. S. Brown, McLeod, Texas, and Worley Brown, Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Graves, Mira, La., Mrs. Fronia Westbrook, Raceland, and Mrs. Lena Atkins, Ida, La., and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dick Brown, J. K Brown, Billy King, Wayne Brown, James Beck, Jimmy Brown, Don Brown and Billy Ray Sullivan.
