All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Nina Gunter Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 6, 1963 Funeral Held Saturday For Mrs. Brown Funeral services for Mrs. Nina Gunter Brown, 41, who died last Friday in a Vicksburg hospital were held at 10 a. m. Saturday at the Tallulah Methodist Church with the Rev. Clark Bell, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Wilson Watson. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Cupit-Young Funeral Home. She had lived in Tallulah for the past 22 years and for the past 12 years was secretary at the Tallulah Methodist Church. She also taught in the Methodist Sunday School. Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Brown, Tallulah; a son, Charles Clayton Brown, Tallulah; her mother, Mrs. Vera C. Gunter, Oak Grove; a sister, Mrs. Geraldine Deane, Jacksonville, Ark. Pallbearers were Warren Patrick, Stuart Moberley, Albert Paxton, Maurice Ursery, Wesley Reardon, George Spinks, Red Cummins and James Griswold.
