All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Sallie Brown - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 15, 1961 Services Held on Tuesday for Mrs. Sallie Brown Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Brown, 87, who died at the Madison Parish Hospital last Sunday night following a long illness, were held at the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday morning. Rev. Bobby Brown officiated with burial held in the cemetery at Lake Village, Arkansas. Mrs. Brown, a native of Madison County, Miss., had made her home in Tallulah with her daughter, Mrs. D. T. Brabham, for the past 10 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Dewey and Edward Brown of Lake Village, Arkansas; three daughters, Mrs. H. M. Smith of Altheimer, Arkansas; Mrs. Ludia Land of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Mrs. D. T. Brabham of Tallulah, 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mr. A. B. Foster, R. H. Brimer, Morris Allred, John Henry Smith, Jack Schooley and Harmon Lee Smith.
