All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Arthur L Bryant - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 6, 1993 Graveside services for Mr. Arthur L Bryant, 72, were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Silver Cross Cemetery with Rev. Pat Lofton officiating. Burial was under direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Bryant died Wednesday, Dec. 30 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. He was born in Arkansas and had lived in Madison Parish for 47 years. He was a farmer, a veteran of World War II and a deacon at Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Hill Bryant of Tallulah; one son, Terry Bryant of Fort Eustis, Va.; three brothers, Austin Bryant of Dry Prong and Selton Bryant and Evron Bryant, both of Tallulah; two sisters, Lucy Curry of Gurdon, Ark. and Sadie Day of Delta; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Alejandro Saldana, Alex Saldana, Hank Matthews, Albert Matthews, James Matthews and Freddy Geddis. Honorary pallbearers were Bruce Bryant, Lonnie Bullock, Ronnie Bryant, Earl Bryant, Ralph Bryant, George Hill, Jeff Wallace, Marty Wallace and Chris Wallace. Memorials may be made toward funeral expenses.
