All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Pearl Bryant - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 10, 1975 Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Bryant, 75, of Tallulah, were held at the Tallulah Presbyterian with the Rev. Nat Heeth officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Bryant died Sunday in a Starkville hospital after a long illness. A native of Slayton, Minn. and resident of Madison Parish for 44 years, she was a member of the Eastern Star, the National Retired Teachers Association and a member of the Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Walnut Bayou Home Demonstration Club. She taught for 18 years in the Vicksburg, Miss. school system. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James W. Crosby Jr. of Starkville, Miss. and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Stevens, Omar Wiygul, Charlie Hopkins, Henry Sevier Jr., LaRue Harmon and Collins Thomas.
