All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Susie Bryant - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 22, 1963 Mrs. Susie Bryant Dies Following Long Illness Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Bryant, 68, who died late last Wednesday, following a long illness were held last Friday at 2 P. M. in Crothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Stamey officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Yell County Arkansas, Mrs. Bryant was a longtime resident here. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband, G. W. Bryant, Tallulah; five sons, Austin, Arthur, Selton, Monroe and Eugene Bryant, also of Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hill and Mrs. Sadie Bullock, both of Tallulah, and Mrs. Lucy Curry, Gurdon, Arkansas; a brother, Frank Posey, Bethel, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Holliday, Texarkana, Arkansas, and Mrs. Tennessee Risenhover of Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Albert Newell, Charles Newell, George Rogan, Pete King, Donald Wayne Arender, and John Wilhite.
