All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lombard Burns - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 29, 1976 Funeral services for Lombard Burns, 38, of Vicksburg, who was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 61 near Vicksburg xxxday morning were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Father Joe Dilettuso, officiated and burial was in Cedar Hills Cemetery under the direction of the Xxxxx Funeral Home. Mr. Burns was born near Clarksdale and lived in Tallulah before moving to Vicksburg seven years ago. He was president of the Warren County Farm Bureau. He was a member of the County ASC Committee, and Jaycee recipient of the Outstanding Young Farmer Award. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and was a member of the Parish Council. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mae Burns; a son, Martin; two step-children, Will and Cary Raeford, all of Vicksburg; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Moore of Little Rock.
