Burns Dies At Tallulah Home This Morning TALLULAH, La July 29 (Special) -- William Walter (Robert) Burns, 72, resident of Madison Parish for the past 32 years died here today. He had been in ill health for a number of months. Burns was a carpenter: He Was born in Marion, Ill. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Warwich Burns. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 5 o'clock at the Crothers Funeral Home with the Reverend John F. Kilpatrick, Methodist minister and the Reverend Shirley Briggs, Baptist minister, officiating. Pallbearers will be: M. B. Christian, R. R. Holt, Emmett Lowe, R. E. Rush, B. H. Prewitt, J. E. Purr.
