Busby - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 29, 1985 Services for Burlin M. Busby, 70, of Tallulah, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ebie McGee and Arthur West officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. He died Monday in Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Busby was a Leander native and a resident of Madison for 50 years. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida Maude Busby of Tallulah; two sons, Marvin M. Busby of Columbia, S.C. and Bobby Busby of Tallulah; his mother, Mrs. Fannie Busby of Tallulah; five brothers, Howard Busby, Thurman Busby, and Kenneth Busby, all of Tallulah, Huey Busby and Durwood Busby, both of Delhi; one sister, Mrs. Lovie Norton of Stamps, Ark.; three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Danny Busby, Montie Busby, Ricky Busby, John Busby, Gary Busby, and Douglas Baker.
