All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Olive Patterson Byrd - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 25, 1995 Funeral Services for Mrs. Olive Patterson Byrd were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed at the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Byrd died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1995, at Madison Parish Hospital after a brief illness. She was 80. Mrs. Byrd was a native of Arcadia and had lived in the Madison Parish area for 55 years. She was a housewife and member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She is survived by one daughter; Sarah Jean Crothers of Tallulah; one brother, Bill Patterson of Arcadia; one sister, Lucy Rogers of Arcadia; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Glynn Weems, Todd Bean, Lynn Honeycutt, Phillip Crothers, Tommy Byrd and Bobby Todd.
