All rights reserved. ************************************************ Opal Bates Cagnolatti - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 20, 2003 TALLULAH - Opal Bates Cagnolatti died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at Olive Branch Nursing Home. She was 80. Born in Bogalusa, La., Ms. Cagnolatti had lived in Tallulah for 60 years. She was a retired secretary for the Madison Parish School Board, a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church and Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include two sons, Malcolm A. Cagnolatti and David W. Cagnolatti, both of Tallulah; a sister, Sarah Wright of Dundee, Miss.; three grandchildren; and four g reat-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Edward's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ferreolus D'Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home. A Rosary will follow. Pallbearers will be Walter Scott, Joe K. Scott, Glenn Gimbellot, Michael Lancaster, Gerald Tonore and Bobby Tonore. Honorary pallbearers will be Edgar Lancaster Jr., Collins Thomas, Salo Abrahm Jr. and Robert "Racer" Holstead.
