Cagnolatti - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 2, 1979 Funeral services for Theophile A. Cagnolatti were Sunday at the St. Edwards Catholic Church in with Father John Scanlon officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A rosary was held at 8 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Cagnolatti died Saturday morning in the Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. He was 97 years old. He was a native of St. James Parish and a resident of Tallulah past 68 years. He was a city Commissioner for 45 years, having retired in 1975. He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, Malcolm Cagnolatti, R. D. "Roe" Cagnolatti and W. P. "Odo" Cagnolatti, all of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Towne of Tallulah and Mrs. Eunice Erwin of New Orleans; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mac Cagnolatti Jr., David Cagnolatti, Woody Cagnolatti, Dale Cagnolatti, Johnnie Erwin, Marlin Rains, James Wilson and Lane Williams. The family requests that memorials be made to the St. Edwards Catholic Church Building Fund.
