All rights reserved. ************************************************ Genevieve Minsky Caldwell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post April 20, 2001 TALLULAH - Genevieve Minsky Caldwell died Thursday, April 19, 2001. She was 84. A registered nurse, Mrs. Caldwell was a graduate of Touro Nursing School in New Orleans. She worked as a public health nurse in Columbia, La., before moving to Tallulah with her husband in 1949. She served as school nurse for the Madison Parish School Board for more than 30 years. She was a native of South Bend, Ind., attended high school in Lake Village, Ark., and graduated from Tallulah High School. She was a lifelong member of the Temple Anshe Chesed. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Caldwell Evans. Survivors include four daughters, Dr. Sandra Caldwell Jolson of Orlando, Fla., Lizbeth Caldwell Abramson of San Diego, Irene Caldwell Gosey of Slidell, La., and Sara Bess Caldwell Czuelegar of Laguna Beach, Calif.; two sons, James "Buddy" Caldwell of Tallulah and Louis Matthew Caldwell of West Monroe, La.; 19 grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Tallulah Elementary auditorium. Memorials may be made to the Temple Anshe Chesed, 2414 Grove St., Vicksburg, MS 39183.
