Winnifred Lauretta Goldman Cannon

Graveside services for Winnifred Lauretta Goldman Cannon, 74, of Tallulah, La., and formerly of 
Thomas County, are at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Cannon 
died Oct. 31 in Tallulah. Born Nov. 3, 1928 in Thomas County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late 
Hobson and Emma Davis Goldman. She was a member of the Baptist faith and a retired restaurant manager. 
Survivors include two sons, Carey Franklin Cannon and wife, Freda of New Orleans, La., Randy Eugene 
Cannon of New Orleans; two daughters, Carrie Laurette Cooper and husband, LaVaughn of Pavo, Frances 
Delores Blanson and husband, Eddie of Tallulah; a sister, Janie D. Roberts of Jamestown, S.C.; 16 
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. -- Harrell Faircloth Funeral Home
