Cardin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 23, 1984 Services for Pearl F. Cardin, 73, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tallulah First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. A.B. Downs officiating. Burial was in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Cardin died Wednesday at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a short illness. The Silver Springs, Ark., native had lived in Tallulah for nine years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Delhi. Survivors include her husband, Dewie Cardin of Tallulah; three sons, William K. Cardin of Newellton, Opal L. Cardin of Jackson, Miss., and James H. Cardin of Grand Junction, Col. ; two brothers, Orval Sales of Eugene, Ore., and Amos Sales of Titusville, Fla.; five sisters, Bessie Hogue of Anderson, Calif., Lillie Killen of LiddieviIle, Laverne Wallace of Natchez, Melbie Hogue and Vonda Ferrington, both of Winnsboro; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
