All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Payton Carney III - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 23, 1994 Funeral services for Mr. Payton Carney III, 32, were held Saturday in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Carney, an employee of Imperial Western Company, died March 15. Survivors include his parents Mr. and Mrs. Payton W. Carney Jr. of Tallulah; one sister, Betty Lynn Hoffman, his brother-in-law John Hoffman and his nephew Joshua Hoffman, all of Tallulah; and his maternal grandmother, Myrtle H. Johns of Tallulah. Pallbearers were George Cupples, George Segrest, John Segrest, Bill DeWeese, John Moss Christian and Danny Rice. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Word and Lane Word.
