All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Jack Carter - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 5, 1966 Jack Carter Funeral services were held for Jack Carter, 72, of Tallulah, Wednesday at 10 a. m. in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial will in the Silver Cross Cemetery. A native of Como, Miss., Mr. Carter died Monday night in a local hospital after a brief illness. He had been a resident of Madison Parish for the past 48 years. He was a retired farmer, a veteran of World War I, a member of the First Baptist church and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include two brothers, R. B. Carter and Davis Carter, both of Tallulah, a sister, Miss Helen Carter, of Tallulah, and two nephews.
