All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Liz Smith Carter - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 1, 1995 Services for Liz Smith Carter were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nowell Chapel in Louisville with the Rev. David Clark officiating. Burial was at Indian Springs. Mrs. Carter died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1995, at E. A. Conway Hospital in Monroe. She was 48. She was a housewife and a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, David Carter of Tallulah; six sons, James Smith and Billy Smith, both of Jackson, Miss., D. J. Carter and Jerry Smith, both of Tallulah, Michael David Carter of Magee, Miss., and Donald D. Carter of Alabama; four daughters, Kristi Miller, Angie Bamburg and Amanda Carter, all of Tallulah, and Anita Whibby of Forest City, Ark.; two sisters, Nola Earlene Foster of Sarepta, La., and Lillian Lavone Meadows of Odessa, Texas; five brothers, Steve Freeman and Wayne Freeman, both of Postfalls, Idaho, Gary Freeman and Prentiss Freeman, both of Tallulah, and Jimmy Freeman of Spring Hill, La.; and 14 grandchildren.
