All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ John Harrison Cartwright - Madison Parish, Louisiana October 25, 1954 ~ September 14, 2022 (age 67) From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA September 19, 2022 John Harrison Cartwright passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the age of 67, after a long battle with cancer. John was born October 25, 1954, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to Noah Grandy and Carol Mabel Harrison Cartwright. John was raised in Tallulah, Louisiana, and was a graduate of Tallulah High School. He worked in law enforcement in Tallulah and Lake Providence. He also did construction work for a short period of time. John attended Tallulah First Presbyterian Church and Tallulah First Baptist Church. John is preceded in death by his parents, N.G. and Carol Cartwright, and his brother, Grandy Cartwright. He is survived by two sisters, Christy Kombos of Buda, Texas, and Cindy Hord of Los Osos, California, and one brother, Finley Cartwright of Castroville, Texas. A graveside service will be held for John Harrison Cartwright at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah, Louisiana, with Bro. Johnny Wilkins officiating under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
