All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Sodora Morris Causey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 20, 1976 Funeral services for Mrs. Sodora Morris Causey, 68, of Tallulah, will be held at 10:00 a.m. today in the Chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton. Officiating will be Rev. Ned Stout and Rev. Clyde Frazier of Monroe, district superintendent of the United Methodist Church of Monroe. Mrs. Causey died Tuesday, May 18 at 7:05 p.m. at the Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Causey was a native of Brookhaven, Miss. and was raised in Tensas Parish. She was a resident of Madison Parish for over 20 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of Eastern Star, a lifetime member of the PTA and a member of WSCS. Survivors include her husband, Caster H. Causey of Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Carol Ann) Priest of Tallulah; one brother, Earl R. Morris of Newellton; one sister, Miss Henrietta Morris of Washington, D.C.; and five grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Morris of Newellton. Active pallbearers are Barton Sevier, Lonnie Jennings, Dick Brown, James Boles and Dick Gasaway, all of Tallulah, W. B. Netterville and Clyde Ratcliff of Newellton and George Raworth of St. Joseph. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Parker, Joe Reynolds, Dr. Jacob Storey, W. P. Sevier, Jr. of Tallulah, Dr. Herman Kellum and Dr. Charles Marascalco of Vicksburg, Dr. Tate Thigpen, Dr. William Clay and Dr. Graves of Jackson, Miss. Family requests memorials be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah.
