Chapman - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 10, 1990 Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie P. Chapman, 89, were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. at Lula Baptist Church Cemetery near Pocahontas, Miss. Mrs. Chapman died Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the Madison Parish Hospital. She was a native of Bentonia, Miss. and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past six years. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Lula Baptist Church, where she was the pianist for many years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Mary B. Nettles and Eleen Windham, both of Tallulah.
