All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Dorothy Cheek - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 2, 1978 Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Cheek, 58, of Tallulah, were held in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. S. T. Xxxxdson officiating. Burial was in Epps Cemetery at Epps. Mrs. Cheek died Friday morning at Richland Parish Hospital at Rayville after a lengthy illness. She was a native of West Carroll Parish. Mrs. Cheek had resided in Tallulah for several years. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include four sons, Ernest E. Moore of Gautier, Miss., Johnny Mack Moore of Piqua, Ohio, Horace Edward Sykes of Kingsport, Tenn. and Glenn E. Sykes of Houma; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Ella McClung of San Francisco, Calif. ; her father, E. G. Wynn of Epps; her mother, Mrs. Mary Clark of Corbin, Ky. ; three sisters, Mrs. Glenda Mae Yeley of Stayton, Ore., Mrs. Sybil Jackson of Corbin, Ky. and Mrs. Louis Purvis of Darnell; and five grandchildren.
