Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris Ragland Christian, 82, of West Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery in Logansport, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe.

 

Mrs. Christian was born May 21, 1932 to the union of William and Roma Dye Ragland in Forest, LA and passed from this life on August 13, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Christian enjoyed gardening and tending to flowers. She traveled the world with her late husband, Merlin Bannerman Christian. Mrs. Christian loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with all her heart. She is survived by her children, David Christian and his wife Linda, Mark Christian and his wife Deborah, and Ruth Christian Rogers and her husband Lewis; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and her brother, William Troy Ragland Jr. and his wife Henrietta.
