All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Birdie Lee Clark - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 19, 1994 Birdie Lee Clark died at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tenn., on Oct. 10, 1994. Clark was born Feb. 28, 1919, in Clay County, Miss., to the late Andrew and Wilkie Dexter Lee. She married James Bruce Clark in 1942. They moved to Tallulah from Union City, Tenn., and bought the Motor Parts Co. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Clark of Memphis, Tenn.; son, Jimmy Clark of New Iberia, La.; grandchildren, J. B. Clark III and Jessica Clark, both of New Iberia. Clark was preceded in death by a brother; Ralph Dexter; earlier this year. Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Dunlap Funeral Home with the Reverend Billy Skinner officiating. Burial followed in Obion County Memorial Garden. Pallbearers were Don Rich, Bobby Baker, Tony Westbrook, Larry Vernon, Ray Halford, Ernie Allen, Billy Vict6ry and Brooks Dunlap. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetic Association or Order of the Eastern Star; Madison Chapter No. 94, Box 408, Tallulah, LA 71282.
