All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Bruce Clark - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 9, 1989 Funeral services for former Tallulah resident Mr. Bruce Clark, 69, were held Thursday in Union City, Tennessee. Masonic services were held at White-Ranson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy C. Skinner officiating. Burial was in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Clark died Wednesday at Union City Baptist Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Clay County, Miss. and was a longtime resident of Tallulah. He moved to Union City in 1971 when he purchased Motor Parts Company. Mr. Clark was a veteran of World War II, an avid golfer and a member and past president of Poplar Meadows Country Club. A member of the Tallulah Masonic Lodge, he was a Royal Arch Mason, a member of Knights Templar and a Shriner. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Birdie Lee Clark of Union City; one daughter, Miss Janet Clark of Memphis; one son, Jimmy Clark of Union City; one sister, Mrs. Janice French of Memphis; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Don Rich, Onward Bullard, Phillip White, Dr. Charles Denaburg, Al Reid, Ray Halford, Billy E. Phelps, George Rice and Dr. Harold Butler. Honorary pallbearers were James Victory, Dale Brown, Odell Higgins, Mark Cooley and Ernie Allen. The family requests memorials be made to the Shriners Hospital of the Shrine Burn Center.
