All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Forrest Clark - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post April 27, 1944 FORREST CLARK OF TALLULAH IS DEAD; FINAL RITES TODAY TALLULAH, La April 27- (Special) Forrest Clark, night watchman at the Chicago Mill for the last two years, was found dead in his bed at 11 o'clock Tuesday night when his daughter went to awaken him to go to work. He was 68 years of age. The attending physician found that death was due to natural causes. Mr. Clark had been a resident of Tallulah for 20 years. He was born In Louisville, Miss. and was a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Johnson of Tallulah, Mrs. Leslie Caldwell of Fort Worth, Texas and Mrs. Russell Montgomery of Opelousas, La.; by two sons, Clyde and Roy, of Tallulah, by his aged mother, Mrs. W. J. Clark of Louisville, Miss. by four brothers, Walter, Sanford and Edward of Louisville and Curtis, of Pensacola, Florida, and by three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Crow, Mrs. Winston McCully and Mrs. Ruth Humphries, all of Louisville also by eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the Tallulah Baptist church Thursday afternoon by the Rev. Clarence Crow, the pastor. Interment will be in Silver Cross cemetery.
