Joe M. Clark - Madison Parish, Louisiana

Services for Joe M. Clark, 68, were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Tallulah Church of Christ with the 
Rev. D.T. Williams officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction 
of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Mr. Clark died Thursday at his residence after a short illness.

Mr. Clark was a Bolton, Miss., native but had lived in Madison Parish for 68 years and had recently 
retired as secretary-treasurer of the Madison Parish Police Jury, of which he had been a member for 
over 20 years. He was also a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, World War II veteran and past 
board member of ground division of Louisiana Pesticide Association. Mr. Clark was a member of Tallulah 
Church of Christ and Scott-Nichol-Voak American Legion Post No. 100.

Survivors include his wife, Betty D. Clark of Tallulah; a son, Richard Craig Clark of Tallulah; two 
daughters, Rita Hargrave and Lisa Hill, both of Tallulah; a sister, Elise Yerger of Mound: a brother, 
C. C. Clark of Marshall, Texas and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Odo Cagnolatti, Malcolm Cagnolatti, Sr., J. H. Bryant, Warren Patrick, Andrew L. Sevier Jr., 
Malcolm Sevier, Robert C. Todd. Jim Folk, Lavere Roberson and Robert W. Gandy.

Memorials may be made to Tallulah Church of Christ, Heart Fund or a favorite charity.
