Funeral services for Mr. Rod Allen Cobb of Tallulah, LA will be held at
Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 8th with Rev.
Trent Allen and Rev. Tim Post officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday May 8, 2026, at Parkview Baptist Church
from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Hayden Cobb, Patrick Cobb, Ben Cobb, Toby Wilkins,
Bryan Holmes, Michael Henson, Steven Henson and Phillip Henson.
Rod was born in Mansfield, LA on January 4, 1954, and died on May 6, 2026,
at home surrounded by loving family.
He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah, LA and was retired
from the Tensas River National Wildlife Refuge after 36 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Rodney Howard Cobb and Ruby Faye
Armstrong Cobb.
Surviving him is his wife of 51 years Karen Holmes Cobb of Tallulah, LA; a
son David Cobb and wife Heather of Tallulah, LA; grandson Hayden Cobb and Carah
of West Monroe, LA; a granddaughter Emma Ruth Cobb of Tallulah, LA and three
siblings Walter Cobb and wife Pat of Tallulah, LA, Lewis Cobb and wife Jeannie
of Tyler, TX and Penney Wilkins and several nieces and nephews.
