Cobb - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 27, 1982 Services for Mrs. Ruby A. Cobb were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Parkview Baptist Church at Tallulah with the Revs. Lester Johnson and Alton Hodnett officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Cobb died Monday in Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss. after a short illness. She was a native of Corsicana, Texas and a resident of Tallulah past 26 years. She was employed by the A-Mart Store in Tallulah and was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Walter Cobb and Rod Cobb, both of Tallulah, and Louis Cobb of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. Penny Wilkins of Tallulah; her stepfather, Elmer Lloyd of Marshall, Texas; a brother, Buddy Armstrong of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Alice Weaver of Shreveport and Mrs. Effie Mae Ford of Mansfield; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Tommy Jobe, Steve Allen, Larry Cox, Freddie Morgan, Timmy Rinicker and Charles L. Abrahm and Steve Collins.
