Collins Of Transylvania Dies Sunday Dave Harden Collins, 77, died at his home in Transylvania after a long illness. Collins, a native of Perkinville, Miss., had been a farmer in Transylvania for the past 17 years. He was a member of the Transylvania Baptist Church. Services were held Monday at 2:30 P. M. at the Transylvania Baptist Church with Rev. Cannon officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dottie Harris Collins of Transylvania; four sons, Virgil Collins of Monroe; Jarrett Collins of Transylvania; Wilburn Collins of Tallulah; and Ray Collins of Camp Chaffee, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. R. B. Carter of Tallulah; Mrs. C. C. Watson of Ferriday; and Mrs. Elton Fortenberry of Transylvania; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Norman and Mrs. Len Ingram, both of Monroe; Mrs. Walter Smith of Alexandria; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were George Hopkins, Lee Johnson, Benton Fortenberry, Bernie Walker, Robert Fairchild and Clinton Fortenberry.
