Collins died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 84. Mrs. Collins was born in Taft, Tenn., and had lived in Tallulah for a number of years. A homemaker, she was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Collins, and a son, Billy G. Collins. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Smith of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 today until the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be George Barrow, David Barrow, Danny McDaniel, J.W. Hayden, Jamie Hayden and Frank Lee.
