All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ethel Leona Conrad - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 1, 1983 Services for Mrs. Ethel Leona Conrad, 89, were at 4 p.m. at the Willow Bayou Baptist Church near Tallulah with the Revs. Ray Smith, Ray Ming and Howard McLemore officisating. Buruial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Conrad died Saturday at Xxxxx Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss. after a long illness. She was a native of Flora, Miss. and a resident of Madison Parish for 54 years. She was a housewife and member of the Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Jimmie Lee Conrad of Baker; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Chambless and Mrs. Lizzie Mae Noland, both of Tallulah; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and a great great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Armon Cox, Horace Russell, Saniford Parker, Wayne McKnight, J.D. Cherene, and Richard Thames.
