All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Hebert Jackson Conrad - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 25, 1970 Mr. Conrad dies; rites held Saturday Funeral services for Hebert Jackson Conrad, 74, of Tallulah were at 4:00 p. m. Saturday at Willow Bayou Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Ray Smith and Dale Wilson officiating. Burial was at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Conrad died early Friday morning at his residence after an apparent heart attack. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Conrad of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. John Nolan and Mrs. Leroy Chambless, both of Tallulah; two sons; Marvin Conrad of West Monroe, and Jimmy Conrad of Baton Rouge; one brother, Rufus Conrad of Vicksburg, Miss.; and one sister, Mrs. Ada Graham of Vicksburg, Miss.; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Armon Cox, Arlie Cox, Horace Russell, O. D. Creed, J. J. Smith and Saniford Parker.
