M. for Mrs. Lena Coody, 66, who died Friday night at her home after an extended illness. The Revs. L. M. Sawyer and Bobby Brown conducted the services which were held in the Epps Methodist Church. Burial followed in Epps cemetery. Mrs. Coody is survived by her husband, M. D. Coody, Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Leona Hattaway, Tallulah, Mrs. Willa Mae Hilderbrand, Vicksburg, Miss., and Mrs. Roberta Storm, Minneapolis, Minn.; five sons, Eddy Coody, Monticello, Ark., Matthew Coody, Bossier City, La., Ogden Coody, Clinton, La., Buford Goody, Tallulah, and Winfred Ray Coody, Denver, Colo.; three brothers, W. J. Key, Houston, Tex.; Albert Key, Jasper, Tex., and E. C. Key, Orange, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtie Harrell, Groves, Tex., Mrs. Essie Scott, Silbee, Tex. and Mrs. Laura Mae Herring, Buna, Tex. ; 30 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bennie Byrd, H. S. Keys, Stanley Roberson, George Harrison, James Pennington, and Carlos Pennington. Grandsons and Dr. H. S. Provine served is honorary pallbearer.
