Cook - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 21, 1915 M. B. Cook. Mr. M. B. Cook, one of Madison most popular business men, died at the Sanitarium in Vicksburg Sunday night. Mr. Cook had been indisposed for several days, and went to the Sanitarium for treatment but his friends had no idea that his illness was so serious. Sunday night he was taken violently ill and death followed in a few hours. Mr. Cook been a valuable employee with the Maxwell Yerger company at Mounds, and was held in high esteem in the business and social affairs of this parish. The remains were carried to his old home in Mississippi, near Utica, accompanied by a number of friends from this parish.
