Arnold James Cooper, Jr., 81, of Texarkana, TX passed away February 13, 2012 at his home. Mr. Cooper was born August 28, 1930 in

Tallulah, LA. He was a U. S Army veteran retired and was also retired from International Paper.

 

Mr. Cooper was a member of First Baptist Church; Twin City Kiwanis Club; and American Diabetes Association.

 

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite A. Cooper of Texarkana, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Diane Cooper of Saint Clair, MO

and Richard and Tracie Cooper of Texarkana, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Steve Holmes of Texarkana, TX; sisters, Catherine

Stevens of Omaha, NE and Marie Ward of Grand Junction, CO; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Sadie Cooper of Newton, MS; grandson,

Brady Cooper of Texarkana, TX; and granddaughter, Courtney Cooper of Texarkana, TX.

 

Graveside services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial is

under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the

funeral home. The family will be at their home. In lieu of flowers family request that donations be sent to American Diabetes Association or
